November 13, 2003 - Marshall Durbin's efforts over the past two years to reduce DOT chargeable accidents and ensure DOT compliance culminated today when the Department of Transportation awarded it a "Satisfactory Rating", the highest possible rating for carrier safety. 

Robert J. Camp, Director of Human Resources and Safety, stated, "We recognize our principal business is poultry processing but as an integrated processor we also realize certain components of our business act as specialized transportation companies. As such, we allocate time and resources to those components as if they were our core competency to ensure we are as safe or safer than other carriers and our peers."
